Description
Parnell is one of Auckland’s oldest suburbs with a rich and varied history. The area has seen more than its fair share of protests and celebration, from the early days of modern Auckland right through to the present day.
Join us for a guided walk that highlights some of the interesting places and people of Parnell who have made significant contributions to our sense of national identity.
The walk will begin on the front steps of Auckland Museum, and end at the Holy Trinity Cathedral.
Hosted by a professional local guide with a passion for Parnell and the history of New Zealand. This walk is not suited to anyone with significant mobility issues or low levels of fitness.
